Sunset at the Marina by Amy Dundon: This image features a winter sunset at a marina on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina. The marina is at the Freedom Boat Club. It was a warm January evening when I captured this image of the sailboats! Enjoy the sunset.
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina with 520 miles of shoreline! The lake was created by Duke Energy to power the generators at the hydroelectric station at Cowans Ford Dam for use by McGuire Nuclear Station. This image was captured from the beach at Jetton Park in Cornelius. Enjoy the sunset!
