Description
Golden Hour Trees at Lake Norman by Amy Dundon: features a view of trees and interesting tree roots at the shore of Lake Norman, in Cornelius, North Carolina, during "golden hour" prior to sunset.
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina with 520 miles of shoreline! The lake was created by Duke Energy to power the generators at the hydroelectric station at Cowans Ford Dam for use by McGuire Nuclear Station. This image was captured at Jetton Park in Cornelius. Enjoy the sunset!
