Freedom in Flight: While visiting the grounds of Mission Nombre De Dios, I walked over to the lake to get a closer look at this beautiful Great Egret. When I came a bit too close the Great Egret flew away and I was able to capture this photographic image! I did not have a zoom lens so I was fairly close :) Enjoying everyday moments like these.

We have visited St. Augustine many times over the years. It is a great place to visit with lots of history and amazing art galleries. The beach is very close also for those who love sun and surf! The Christmas Lights are impressive and a wonderful time of year to visit. My husband and I were married in Florida and had photographs taken on the grounds of Mission Nombre De Dios in front of The Great Cross and Our Lady de la Leche Shrine chapel. We visited St. Augustine recently and always enjoy going to the mission grounds.
