Sunny Day on Lake Norman by Amy Dundon: I went out in the morning with my dog to walk at WaterStreet Seaport Marina on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina. The day began cloudy and became more sunny and warm as we walked. I captured this image with a Lensbaby Velvet 85 camera lens providing a "glow" to the clouds and image. I framed the image with the leading lines of the walkway along the lake. Enjoy the view at the marina!
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina with 520 miles of shoreline! The lake was created by Duke Energy to power the generators at the hydroelectric station at Cowans Ford Dam for use by McGuire Nuclear Station.
