Spearmint Gum by Amy Dundon: As I walked through the small city of Lincolnton, North Carolina, I saw this large sign painted on the side of one of the buildings on the main street leading towards the courthouse. The sign is for Wrigley's Spearmint Pepsin Gum with a statement of "buy it by the box." This building is located within the Lincolnton Commercial Historic District which encompasses 62 buildings.
Lincolnton is located in Lincoln County, northwest of Charlotte, NC, and is on the South Fork of the Catawba River.
