Rhododendron in Blowing Rock by Amy Dundon: During a recent visit to an arts festival in Blowing Rock NC I captured this image of a blooming rhododendron behind a small wall on the sidewalk. Enjoy the beauty of nature!

Blowing Rock is a small town in western North Carolina located on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. The city is named after The Blowing Rock, a formation with sweeping views of peaks, forests and the Johns River Gorge.
