Artist's Description

Lake Jocassee by Amy Dundon: Lake Jocassee is a 7,565-acre, 300-foot deep reservoir that remains mostly undeveloped in South Carolina and the only public access point to the lake is through Devils Fork State Park. Four Appalachian mountain rivers and several waterfalls feed into the lake. The reservoir was created by the state in partnership with Duke Power in 1973. This image was captured from the trail to Upper Whitewater Falls, located in North Carolina.
