High Stepping: This beautiful Saddlebred Horse has an arched neck and alert ears while being ridden during a horse show at Blowing Rock, North Carolina at the Broyhill Equestrian Preserve. The horse and rider are spectacular in amazing harmony! I also love the red, white, and blue American flags in the background. Enjoy the elegance:)
Saddlebred Horses originated in the United States and became known as the "American Horse." They posses up to five gaits, an animated style, arching neck, and great temperament. They are shown in many classes to include the following: Park, Pleasure, Hunter Country Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Fine Harness, and Roadster.

About Amy Dundon
Artist & Occupational Therapist Amy studied art (drawing, painting) and photography in high school and in college. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and worked for many years as a graphic designer for a real estate company and then a design, print, and mail company. During that time Amy went back to school and obtained a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. She currently works full time as an occupational therapist in a school system but is reigniting her love for art and photography mixed together with her interest in gardening, flowers, nature, and animals.
