Artist's Description
Hickory Nut Falls Water by Amy Dundon: We took a day trip to Chimney Rock State Park in North Carolina and captured this image of Hickory Nut Falls. Chimney Rock State Park is noted for a large granite outcropping located on a summit above the village in Rutherford County. These waterfalls were featured in the movie The Last of The Mohicans during the final confrontation between Chingachgook and Magua. The falls are 404 feet tall and had a good flow of water from recent rains.
