Glenn Hilton Park by Amy Dundon: We recently visited the Glenn Hilton Park, located in Hickory North Carolina. We walked throughout the park with our dog, who always loves a new adventure and new places. When I captured this image thunder and storm clouds were behind me and the sun was still shining brightly in front of me. I added the orton effect to the photograph to create a dreamlike glow.
Glenn Hilton Park has 5 picnic shelters with tables and grills, 2 playgrounds, a gazebo, a lighted and paved walking trail, a nature boardwalk surrounded by trees and over a marsh area, a 18 hole disc golf course, a canoe launch, horseshoe pits, and a memorial garden for the public's recreation and enjoyment. We enjoyed exploring the park!
