A Wonderful Start To The Day by Amy Dundon: I went out early in the morning with my dog to walk at the marina on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina. It was an overcast morning with a cloud cover yet still a wonderful way to start the day. Enjoy the marina view!
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina with 520 miles of shoreline! The lake was created by Duke Energy to power the generators at the hydroelectric station at Cowans Ford Dam for use by McGuire Nuclear Station. This image was captured from the beach at Jetton Park in Cornelius. Enjoy the sunset!
